acerbicarbalist I stumbled upon this band while listening to Saetia on Spotify, and had to check them out. This album rates in one of my top 5, for sure. I'd love to see this band live Favorite track: pulses.
Jason Mordecai

Jason Mordecai This is pure emotion at its best!! RAW to the core!!! Favorite track: crisis.
MZTN
MZTN thumbnail
Favorite track: graven.
Ed Smith

Ed Smith One of the absolute standout albums of 2018
Emi

Emi This is absolutely one of my favorite albums of the year. Beauty and brutality mixed into one hell of an album. Favorite track: pulses.
Trveheimer
Trveheimer thumbnail
Trveheimer this is top notch screamo. despite being one of the most intense bands of the last years anyway, ostraca added a lot darkness and musical variety to their style. fucking intense, emotional extremes and beautiful soundscapes.

1.
big star 03:08
everybody’s dreams are losing steam from the start spoonfed celebrity and so, death obsessed, go figure are empowered? deluded? or just pacified? squabbling for the smallest thrones in our corners like right now i saw the path of decline long before you fell and already, i can see your big star falling
2.
graven 00:51
if our poetry may lengthen and conceal if our light will linger and overwhelm if our memories neither blur nor fade then i will outlive you you will outlive me
3.
crisis 06:55
glue back together what you know won’t hold put it off again at least until the money’s there who’s ready for forever yet? ever? can you hold your breath a little longer? one more year, one more year, one more year of waiting for your life to start
4.
pulses 04:11
ticking clock substitute heartbeat we find no attachment without patterns like dots become eyes as noise shapes words blink twice for yes move so i know you’re alive or like a candle that neither flickers nor dies you are beyond understanding ticking clock or a heartbeat what’s the difference either way
5.
in passing 03:32
6.
nemesis 06:50
enemy mine, will you face me? my one dedicated opponent eyes and shoulders set against me ready to fight ready to die never showed up around every corner is a turned back yes you suffer, but… why not so when your bones splinter when your cry is cut short as you stand against the steamroller don’t dream for a second that the driver bats an eye
